Overview
Lens on Tanzania:
An Eleven-Day Photographic Adventure.
Our African photo safari is led by a master naturalist safari guide and wildlife photographer, making it ideal for both novice and experienced photo enthusiasts. You’ll have the opportunity to photograph Tanzania’s best game parks, including the Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire. Our safari is scheduled to coincide with the calving season in the southern Serengeti National Park, where the wildebeest and zebra migration spreads out across the plains, attracting an abundance of lions and cheetahs.
Expect to witness hundreds of wildebeest calves that are just a few hours old, with a good chance of witnessing a live birth. The presence of billowy clouds, occasional Spring-like showers amidst clear blue skies, bright sunlight, and vibrant green grass creates brilliant photographic opportunities.
Based in lodges, tented camps, and mobile luxury camps ideally situated for seasonal wildlife movements, we travel in retrofitted stretch 4×4 Land Cruisers that are fully equipped with window seats and an open hatch, ensuring unobstructed wildlife observation and photography. To minimize travel time and rugged overland travel, we conclude the safari with a flight from Serengeti back to Arusha
