Tour Plan
Day 1: NAIROBI ARRIVAL
- Guests arriving at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport are assisted by a Trackers Safari Compass representative and transferred to their hotel.
- Overnight at House of Waine – dinner and breakfast.
Day 2: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK.
- After breakfast, guests are transferred to Wilson Airport for their flight to Amboseli National Park and Satao Lerai Camp, where they will spend the next 2 nights. Amboseli National Park lies below the most famous symbol of Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world.
- Amboseli National Park is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephant, as well as being home to a large variety of other wildlife. One of the most notable attractions of the park is the opportunity for guests to meet the local Maasai people and learn about their culture and way of life. Guests are transferred to camp for lunch, then enjoy an afternoon game drive and a sundowner.
- Overnight at Satao Camp – lunch, dinner, and breakfast.
Day 3: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK.
- Guests will spend a full day in the Amboseli National Park and enjoy the game activities on offer by the camp, including an early morning walking safari, game drives and a bush breakfast. In a low-rainfall area this makes for spectacular concentrations of wildlife and supports Amboseli’s claim as one of the best wildlife viewing experiences in the world. Among safari activities are night game drives, sundowner and a chance to visit the authentic Elerai cultural village.
- Satao Elerai Camp is located in a quiet, unspoilt setting on a 5,000 acre private conservation area 12kms south east of Amboseli National Park. Marvelous views of the park on one side and Mt Kilimanjaro on the other.
- Overnight at Satao Camp – lunch, dinner, and breakfast.
Day 4: MERU NATIONAL PARK.
- Guests can enjoy an early morning game drive and then brunch before boarding a scheduled flight for the Meru National Park and their next camp, Porini Rhino River Camp. Situated in 80 acres of privately owned wilderness on the edge of the Meru National Park, Porini Rhino River Camp is an excellent base from which one can explore the park with its own rhino conservancy. The cottage rooms on raised wooden platforms are set near the gently flowing Kindani River.
- Meru National Park was one of two areas in which conservationists George and Joy Adamson raised Elsa the lioness, immortalised in the book and movie ‘Born Free’. Guests have the option of a guided walk or an afternoon game drive.
- Overnight at Porini Rhino River Camp – lunch, dinner, and breakfast.
Day 5: MERU NATIONAL PARK.
- Guests spend a full day in Meru National Park and enjoy the game activities on offer including bird walks within the camp, hiking, guided walks, fishing, sundowners and a night game drive.
- The park is a sanctuary to an impressive diversity of wild animals including elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, kudu, reticulated giraffe and the Grevy’s zebra. Meru National Park has its own rhino sanctuary where guests are guaranteed to spot both black and white rhinos.

Kichwa Tembo is a classic Kenyan safari camp along the Mara River where riverine forest meets the sweeping plains. Masai-inspired interiors, warthogs feeding in the immaculate grounds and access to the private concessions for extra safari activities.
- Masai Mara is most famous for the great migration, which happens from July to October.
- Overnight at Kichwa Tembo Camp – lunch, dinner and breakfast
Day 7: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
- Guests can enjoy a bush breakfast and a full day’s game viewing in the Masai Mara National Reserve. In the private concession, guests can take bush walks, bush meals or enjoy night game drives.
- The Mara, contiguous with the Serengeti National Park is perhaps, the only remaining region left in Kenya where animals are as prolific as they might have been more than a century ago. ‘Mara’ is the Maa word for ‘spotted’, an apt description of the flat-topped acacia and cloud shadows that mark the open savannah.
- Overnight at Kichwa Tembo Camp – lunch, dinner and breakfast.
Day 8: DEPARTURE
- Guests enjoy morning game activities and lunch before the tour departs for Nairobi’s Wilson Airport, mid-afternoon. Guests are assisted on arrival and transferred to a Nairobi restaurant for dinner before transfer to a city hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for outbound departure.
