Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve

• Depart Nairobi early in the morning and drive to Samburu National Reserve (approximately 6-7 hours).
• Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch.
• Embark on your first game drive in Samburu, known for its unique wildlife such as Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, and reticulated giraffe.
• Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full day Samburu Safari

• Early morning game drive to catch the animals at their most active.
• Return to the lodge/camp for breakfast and relaxation. Optionally, visit a local Samburu village to learn about their culture.
• After lunch, later head out for another game drive to explore different areas of the reserve.
• Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Samburu – Sweetwaters Olpejeta

• After breakfast, depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy (approximately 3-4 hours drive).
• Arrive at your lodge or camp in Ol Pejeta in time for lunch.
• Later go on a game drive in Ol Pejeta, home to the Big Five and the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa. Visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary.
• Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Ol Pejeta – Nairobi

• Early morning game drive in Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
• Return to the lodge/camp for breakfast and check-out.
• Drive back to Nairobi (approximately 3-4 hours), arriving in the late afternoon.
