Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Amboseli National Park
- Arrive in Nairobi and transfer to Amboseli National Park. You can either drive (approximately 4-5 hours) or take a chartered flight (about 1 hour) to the park.
- Arrive at your lodge or camp, check-in, and freshen up.
- Enjoy a delicious lunch at your lodge with views of the surrounding landscape.
- Head out for an afternoon game drive. Explore the park’s diverse habitats and spot wildlife such as elephants, zebras, giraffes, and various bird species. The late afternoon light is perfect for photography, especially with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background.
- Enjoy a sundowner in the park, watching the sunset over the plains.
- Return to your lodge for dinner and relax under the starry African sky.
Day 2: Full Day at Amboseli
- Set out early to catch the park’s wildlife at its most active. The clear morning views of Mount Kilimanjaro are spectacular. Look out for predators like lions and cheetahs on the hunt.
- Return to your lodge for breakfast.
- Climb Observation Hill for panoramic views of the park, including the swamps where elephants, hippos, and numerous bird species can be seen.
- Have lunch at the lodge or a picnic in a scenic spot within the park.
- Visit a local Maasai village to learn about their traditional lifestyle and culture. Engage in activities such as traditional dance performances and craft-making demonstrations.
- Another opportunity to explore different areas of the park and spot more wildlife.
- Enjoy a hearty dinner at your lodge, followed by relaxation around the campfire.
Day 3: Final Game Drive and Departure.

- Return to your lodge for breakfast and pack your belongings.
- Check out from your lodge and prepare for your departure.
- If time permits, take a guided nature walk around the lodge’s grounds or visit a nearby conservation project.
- Head back to Nairobi by road or take a flight. If you’re driving, enjoy a packed lunch en route.
- Arrive in Nairobi and transfer to the airport for your onward journey or to your hotel if you’re extending your stay in Kenya.
